FAQ

  • Is a tour required prior to signing up?
Yes. Tours, and acknowledgement of facility etiquette, are required prior to signing up.
  • Do you have membership plans that don’t require long-term contracts?
Yes. All of our membership plans are month to month only.
  • Can I pay to train for only a day or a week if I’m not a member?
No. You need to be a member, or a guest of an existing member, on an authorized pass, requested by the member, to attend.
  • Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. We require a 30-day notice to cancel, but typically allow members out on the same day without exception if they decide to cancel.
  • Do you offer family memberships?
No. We do not differentiate household memberships and individuals. Every person has a single membership.
  • Can I have a guest if I’m a member?
Yes. Guest passes are for a day or a week, and are for guests of active members only.
  • Can I sign up and bring my guests or clients on the same day?
No. All new members are placed on a 30-day etiquette probation to ensure they are able to properly adhere to the etiquette prior to being allowed to sponsor guests.
  • Can I bring my own trainer with me and be trained at the facility?
Yes. Your trainer will need to have their own membership independent of yourself.
  • If I’m a professional health services practitioner such as a personal trainer, or rehabilitation technician, do I have to pay additional floor fees to train my clients at the facility?
No. You pay a simple membership fee and are treated as a member just like everyone else. You have full access to the facility to train clients as a member.
  • I’m under 18 years of age, can I sign up as a member?
No. All members are required to be legal adults, 18 years of age or older.
  • Are there any group classes or private instruction offered directly by the company?
No. Teqneeq sells no services or products directly. Training arrangements can be made between active members.
  • What does Teqneeq offer to support my technology and social media needs? Ex: Plug-Ins, Wi-Fi, places to take videos, posing areas, etc.
We believe in limited use of technology in support of physical training. Plug-Ins and Wi-Fi are not provided and social media, or other content capture activities are not permitted. Video capture, to the degree it helps members accomplish functional training objectives, and other technological uses such as music, training logs, etc., are allowed so long as they do not negatively interfere with other members’ training experience on the floor.
  • What does Teqneeq offer in addition to standard amenities? Ex: Spa-type amenities, PlayCare, etc.
We gladly offer standard locker rooms, shower amenities that are operational during standard gym hours (not full 24 hours), filtered air, filtered water hand washing stations, and showers. Reverse Osmosis filtered water at our water fill stations. We do not offer Spa-type amenities, such as saunas and hot tubs, or PlayCare. Nor do we provide health gimmicks such as tanning beds, hydro-massage, etc. We encourage members to bring their own easily acquired training aids such as rubber bands, or use items such as towels.
  • What is the best way to contact Teqneeq?
The best way to contact us is via e-mail or in person during regular tour and sign-up hours. Our phone line is dedicated to current members only.
